Job Summary:
The Tax Analyst will be responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, as well as providing analytical support for tax planning and strategy. This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns and ensure timely filing.
  • Conduct research on tax laws, regulations, and rulings to provide accurate guidance.
  • Assist in tax audits by preparing documentation and supporting schedules.
  • Analyze financial statements and transaction data to identify tax implications.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate reporting of tax-related information.
  • Develop and maintain tax-related databases and reports.
  • Support tax planning initiatives to minimize tax liabilities.
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organization.
  • Prepare reports for management, providing insights on tax compliance and planning opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in tax analysis or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance.
  • Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CPA certification or pursuing CPA.
  • Experience with tax software relevant to the position.
