Job Summary:
The Financial Statement Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting the company’s financial statements to provide insights into performance, trends, and financial health. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze quarterly and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement in financial performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and provide insights on financial performance.
- Assist in the preparation of management reports and presentations, summarizing financial results and forecasts.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to management.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by providing historical data and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls related to financial reporting.
- Assist in the audit process by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries from auditors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
- Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- CPA certification or pursuing CPA.
- Experience with specific industries or software relevant to the position.
- Minimum experience of 3 years in as a Financial Statement Analyst or equivalent
