Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Technical Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will specialize in delivering technical training, developing comprehensive training materials, and assessing the training needs of our workforce. This role is essential for enhancing the technical skills of our employees and ensuring they stay up-to-date with the latest industry standards and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Training Delivery:
    • Conduct engaging and effective technical training sessions for employees at various levels, focusing on automotive technologies, systems, and best practices.
    • Utilize a variety of instructional methods and techniques to accommodate different learning styles and ensure knowledge retention.
  • Training Material Development:
    • Develop and maintain high-quality training materials, including manuals, presentations, e-learning modules, and hands-on workshop resources.
    • Stay updated with the latest automotive trends and technologies to incorporate relevant content into training programs.
  • Needs Assessment:
    • Collaborate with department managers to assess training needs and identify skills gaps within teams.
    • Analyze performance metrics and feedback to continuously improve training programs and materials.
  • Evaluation and Feedback:
    • Implement assessment tools to evaluate training effectiveness and participant understanding.
    • Gather and analyze feedback from trainees to enhance future training sessions and materials.
  • Collaboration and Support:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, to ensure training aligns with company goals and standards.
    • Provide ongoing support and coaching to employees post-training to reinforce learning and application of skills.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate records of training sessions, attendance, and participant performance.
    • Prepare regular reports on training outcomes and effectiveness for management review.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Technology, Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven 5 years experience in technical training within the automotive industry, with a strong understanding of automotive systems and technologies.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in training software and tools, including e-learning platforms and multimedia content creation.
  • Certification in instructional design or training is a plus.
