Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Parts Manager to oversee the procurement, management, and distribution of automotive parts. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in parts management within the automotive industry, with a strong focus on purchase orders, inventory accuracy, and effective use of NetSuite for posting and tracking.

- Procurement and Ordering:
- Manage the creation and processing purchase orders (POs).
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and optimal pricing.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to part quality or delivery timelines.
- Inventory Management:
- Oversee the accurate tracking and management of parts inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet operational demands.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations to maintain accuracy in the system.
- Implement strategies to minimize excess inventory and reduce costs while meeting customer needs.
- Parts Arrivals and Distribution:
- Coordinate the receipt and inspection of incoming parts to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Manage the release and distribution of parts to technicians and service departments in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain a system for tracking parts usage and inventory turnover.
- NetSuite Posting and Accuracy:
- Utilize NetSuite for accurate posting of inventory transactions, including receipts, adjustments, and sales.
- Ensure all data entered into the system is correct and up to date, and generate reports as needed for management review.
- Train and support team members on NetSuite processes to enhance overall efficiency.
- Team Leadership and Training:
- Supervise and mentor parts department staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
- Provide ongoing training to staff on inventory management best practices and system usage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in parts management within the automotive industry.
- Proficiency in NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
