Parts Warehouseman Job Description
Position Overview:
The Parts Warehouseman is responsible for efficiently receiving, storing, and distributing automotive parts and supplies within a warehouse or distribution center. This role ensures accurate inventory management, timely order fulfillment, and the maintenance of a clean and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming automotive parts and supplies for accuracy and quality.
• Store parts in designated locations within the warehouse, ensuring proper labeling and organization.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer or internal requirements.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in cycle counting to ensure stock accuracy.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Ensure the warehouse area is clean, safe, and compliant with company policies and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments such as purchasing, sales, and logistics to coordinate inventory needs and deliveries.
• Report any discrepancies, damages, or shortages to supervisors promptly.

• College graduate
• Previous warehouse or automotive parts handling experience preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse management software and basic computer skills.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
