The Role
The Parts Manager owns the end-to-end parts and accessories operation of Global Autodistribution Inc. This role is responsible for parts procurement, inventory management, pricing, sales, and distribution — ensuring that genuine parts are available to support After-Sales service operations and counter/wholesale sales. The Parts Manager drives parts revenue while maintaining optimal stock levels and minimizing dead stock and slow-moving inventory.

This is a manager role that requires strong operational discipline, system accountability in NetSuite, and the ability to manage and develop a team of supervisors and staff.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Parts Procurement & Planning Manage parts ordering from the principal and suppliers. Plan stock replenishment based on consumption, sales trends, and service requirements.
  • Inventory Management Maintain accurate parts inventory records in NetSuite. Conduct cycle counts, reconcile variances, and minimize obsolete and slow-moving stock.
  • Parts Sales Drive counter, wholesale, and internal parts sales. Develop pricing strategies to maximize revenue and margin.
  • Pricing & Margin Management Ensure correct pricing across all parts categories. Monitor gross margin performance and escalate pricing anomalies.
  • Warehouse Management Oversee proper storage, labeling, handling, and security of all parts inventory.
  • Service Support Ensure parts availability for scheduled service jobs. Coordinate with the Aftersales Head on priority parts requirements.
  • Team Leadership Manage Parts Planning Supervisors, sales staff, and warehouse personnel. Set targets, review performance, and coach the team.
  • Reporting Submit parts sales, inventory, and margin performance reports on schedule.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Automotive Technology, or a related field
  • Relevant certifications in inventory or warehouse management are an advantage
  • At least 5 years of experience in parts management, supply chain, or inventory operations — preferably in an automotive dealership or distribution setting
  • At least 6 years in a team lead capacity or 4 years as Manager with Hands-on experience managing parts procurement, pricing, and warehouse operations
  • Proficiency in NetSuite or a comparable ERP system for inventory and purchasing
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel — pivot tables, inventory models, variance analysis
  • Familiarity with Power BI or reporting dashboards is an advantage
  • Working knowledge of warehouse management best practices
