We are seeking a proactive and experienced Independent Recruiter to support our hiring needs in the automotive industry on a part-time, freelance/contract basis. The recruiter will focus on sourcing, screening, and presenting qualified candidates for diverse roles across engineering, manufacturing, sales, service, and supply chain functions. The recruiter will focus on sourcing, screening, and presenting qualified candidates for diverse roles across engineering, manufacturing, sales, service, and supply chain functions. This role is remote and offers flexibility, making it ideal for professionals who want to balance recruitment work with other commitments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with automotive recruitment team to understand role requirements
- Source candidates through online platforms, social media, referrals, and industry-specific networks
- Conduct resume reviews and virtual interviews to assess candidate suitability
- Present shortlisted candidates with detailed profiles and recommendations
- Coordinate interview scheduling and feedback between candidates and hiring managers
- Provide insights on automotive talent trends, salary benchmarks, and competitive hiring practices
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and candidate pipelines
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment proces
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably with exposure to the automotive sector
- Strong understanding of automotive roles such as mechanical engineers, service technicians, sales consultants, and supply chain specialists
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust remotely
- Proficiency in digital sourcing tools, ATS platforms, and professional networking sites
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions part-time while meeting deadlines
- Self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred but not mandatory
