This role oversees invoice validation, 3-way matching, vendor reconciliation, AP aging, accruals, and compliance with internal controls and audit requirements. The position protects the organization from financial and compliance risks while supervising AP staff and coordinating closely with Procurement, Accounting, Treasury, and branch teams.

What You’ll Do:

  • Ensure timely and accurate AP cut-offs and month-end accruals.
  • Enforce internal control procedures, approval matrices, and documentation completeness standards.
  • Manage AP aging, liability accuracy, and exception handling.
  • Prepare schedules and documentation to support internal and external audits.
  • Coordinate with Procurement, Requesting Departments, Accounting, Treasury, and Auditors.
  • Supervise and coach AP staff to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to SOPs.
  • Oversee multi-entity or multi-branch AP operations if applicable.
  • Support process improvement initiatives including ERP, automation, and digital workflow enhancements.

What We Expect From You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management, or related field.
  • 4–6 years of AP, accounting operations, or shared services finance experience.
  • 4+ years in a supervisory or lead role managing AP staff or centralized AP functions.
  • Strong knowledge of invoice validation, 3-way matching, vendor reconciliation, and accrual accounting.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills.
  • High attention to detail, integrity, and discipline in enforcing controls and documentation standards.
  • Ability to supervise, coach, and manage AP staff during high-volume periods.
  • Effective coordination with cross-functional teams across branches and departments.
  • Audit-ready mindset with experience supporting internal, external, or regulatory audits.

What You’ll Get In Return:

  • Collaborate with innovative automotive leaders and diverse teams
  • Competitive base salary
  • Generous paid time off
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Training, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to grow your career
